Responsible Trading
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Trading with leverage is fast, and it can be exciting. For some people it stops being fun and starts to cause harm. This page is about keeping trading under control, spotting when it isn’t, and getting help.
Trading is not a way to earn a living, pay off debts or win back money you have lost. Most people who trade with high leverage lose money.
1. Healthy habits
- Decide how much money you can afford to lose before you deposit, and stick to it.
- Never trade with borrowed money or money you need for rent, bills or food.
- Start small and use low leverage. Read Risk Disclosure to see how quickly high leverage can wipe out a trade.
- Put a stop loss on every trade, and decide your exit before you enter.
- Set yourself a time limit, take regular breaks and don’t trade when you are tired, upset, angry or have been drinking.
- Don’t chase losses. After a loss, stop and step away instead of trading bigger to win it back.
- Keep a record of your results, and look at your real total, not only your winning trades.
2. Warning signs
Trading may be becoming a problem if you:
- trade more money or for longer than you planned;
- deposit again straight after a loss to win it back;
- borrow money, or use money meant for something else, to trade;
- hide your trading or your losses from people close to you;
- feel restless, anxious or irritable when you are not trading;
- trade to escape problems or low mood;
- lose sleep, or neglect work, study, family or friends because of trading.
If any of these sound familiar, take a break and talk to someone. You are not alone, and help is free.
3. Tools on Vembit that help
- Practice money. Bots and the AI Desk can run on practice money, so you can see how a strategy behaves before risking real cash.
- Stop loss, take profit and trailing stop on every position, and a one-tap button to move your stop loss to break-even.
- Your choice of leverage. You can trade from 1x. Before you confirm, the order panel shows your margin, position size, fees and estimated liquidation price.
- Daily loss limits. Bots and the AI Desk need a daily loss limit to trade real cash, and they pause when it is reached. You can pause or stop them at any time.
- Price alerts on the chart, so you don’t have to keep staring at it. Alerts are saved on the device where you set them and only work while Vembit is open in a browser there.
- Hide balances in the account menu, if seeing the numbers move makes you want to trade.
- Your trade history and cash statement, so you can see your real results over time.
- Closing your account. You can ask us to close your account at any time: see Delete your account, or email support@vembit.com. If you are closing it because trading has become a problem, please don’t open a new account afterwards. Apps that block gambling and trading websites on your devices can help.
Remember that partners and creators who promote Vembit earn a share of the fees and spreads their referrals pay. Their posts are not advice.
4. Getting help
Talking to someone you trust is a good first step. These organisations offer free, confidential support for gambling problems, and many of them also help people whose high-risk trading has got out of control:
- Gamblers Anonymous (meetings in many countries): gamblersanonymous.org
- GamCare (UK): gamcare.org.uk
- BeGambleAware (UK): begambleaware.org
- National Council on Problem Gambling (US): ncpgambling.org
Many countries have their own helplines, and your doctor can help too. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number now.
5. Under 18s
Vembit is only for people aged 18 or over. If you think a child is using Vembit, tell us at support@vembit.com and we will close the account.
