Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This policy explains the cookies and browser storage that Vembit (“Vembit”, “we”, “us”) uses on vembit.com and the Vembit web app, and how you can control them. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

1. The short version

  • We use a small number of our own (first-party) cookies to keep you signed in and to know which partner or website sent you.
  • Your browser’s local storage keeps your settings, such as language, time zone and chart settings, on your device.
  • We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on vembit.com. We count visits on our own server.

2. Cookies we set

All of these are first-party cookies. vembit_creator is set only by studio.vembit.com; all the others are set by vembit.com. They are “HttpOnly”, which means scripts on the page cannot read them.

CookieWhat it doesHow long

vembit_creatorKeeps creators signed in to Vembit Creator Studio (studio.vembit.com).30 days

The partner cookie lasts 30 days unless the partner program settings change it.

3. Settings kept on your device

The Vembit app uses your browser’s local storage (and, for a few short-lived things, session storage) to remember choices on this device, for example:

  • your language and display time zone;
  • chart settings, indicators, drawings and price alerts;
  • your watchlist (when you are signed in it is also saved to your account, so it follows you to other devices);
  • order panel choices, such as the order type and how you size a trade;
  • whether “Hide balances” is on;
  • that you have confirmed the risk warning for real-money trading or copy trading;
  • the product tour and Vembit AI preferences, such as voice settings.

Local storage is not a cookie and is not sent with every request. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser; Vembit then goes back to its default settings.

4. Other companies

  • Google. If you choose “Sign in with Google”, you go to Google’s own page, and Google may use its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
  • Buying crypto. If you use Buy crypto, our on-ramp partner’s page (Swapped.com) opens inside Vembit or in a new tab. It may use its own cookies under its own policy. The same applies to any other payment page you open from Wallet.
  • We do not let advertising networks or analytics companies place cookies on vembit.com.

5. How to control cookies

  • Your browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and site data. Look for “Cookies and site data” or “Privacy” in its settings.
  • If you block or delete the vembit_session cookie, you will be signed out and cannot stay signed in.
  • Logging out deletes the sign-in cookie on that device.
  • A private or incognito window keeps no cookies or local storage after you close it.

6. Changes

If we add a cookie or change how we use one, we will update this page and the date at the top before it happens.
