What are Vembit’s fees and spreads?
VembitOctober 18, 2026
Vembit has two kinds of trading cost: a trading fee on crypto trades in leverage mode, and a spread on forex, commodities and crypto trades in lot mode. There is no account fee and no fee to open an account.
Crypto in Leverage Mode: 0.05% Per Side
When you trade crypto with a margin and a leverage multiplier, you pay 0.05% of the position size when the trade opens and 0.05% when it closes. Position size is your margin times your leverage. For example, $20 of margin at 50x is a $1,000 position, so the fee is $0.50 to open and about $0.50 to close. Crypto in leverage mode has no spread: you trade at the live price.
Forex, Commodities and Crypto Lots: Spread Only
These trades have no trading fee. You buy at the ask and sell at the bid, and the gap between them is the spread. Current spreads:
- EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, USD/CAD, USD/CHF, NZD/USD - 0.3 pips
- EUR/GBP - 0.5 pips; USD/JPY - 0.3 pips; EUR/JPY - 0.6 pips; GBP/JPY - 0.8 pips
- Gold (XAU/USD) - $0.20; silver - $0.02; platinum - $1.20
- WTI crude (USOIL) - $0.02; Brent (UKOIL) - $0.03; natural gas - $0.004; copper - $0.002
- BTC/USD lots - $22; ETH/USD lots - $1.20; other crypto lots - about 0.06% of the price
Spreads are fixed values per market and can change; the order panel always shows the spread before you place a trade.
What a Trade Costs in Practice
One standard lot of gold is 100 ounces, so a $0.20 spread costs $20 per lot, or $0.20 on a 0.01-lot trade. One lot of EUR/USD is 100,000 euros, so 0.3 pips costs about $3 per lot. Learn more in what pips are and what a lot size is.
Other Costs
Deposits are made in crypto, so the blockchain network may charge its own network fee. Withdrawals have a $10 minimum. If you buy crypto with a card inside the app, the payment provider shows its price before you pay.
